For some time, Amazon Web Services (AWS) has offered Amazon Appstream, a service which allowed users to stream Windows apps running on Amazon's cloud computing infrastructure to mobile devices, but the service required quite a bit of configuration and tweaking from developers in order to get it to work properly. Now, the company says just about any Windows app should run through the service without the extra fuss.
According to a company blog post on the subject, "You can now stream just about any existing Microsoft Windows application without having to make any code changes. You simply step through a simple installation and configuration process using the AWS Management Console. Once you’ve completed the process, your users can begin to use the application."
