This week's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas is primarily about consumer devices, but there is also some Internet of Things (IoT) technology on display that could be of interest to enterprises. For example, Lenovo showed a display that can be charged wirelessly, and Ericsson showed three IoT solutions that could be used to create smart cities.

In addition, the ZigBee Alliance, a non-profit association of companies dedicated to creating global IoT standards, announced that it is working with the Thread Group on an end-to-end IoT network solution. They say the solution will streamline product development and improve IoT device interoperability.
