New Windows 10 Update Said to Fix Windows Store Issues

Microsoft has begun rolling out its third cumulative update for Windows 10 since the operating system’s launch July 29. According to Mary Jo Foley at ZDNet, the update is intended to fix issues users have been having with the Windows Store and apps acquired through the store. However, Foley notes that some users said that their Store problems were resolved without the update and that others said they were still experiencing issues with the Store after applying the update.

The update highlights the fact that Microsoft has a much more rapid release schedule for updates to its new operating system. In addition, Microsoft is telling users, “Windows 10 updates are cumulative. Therefore, this package contains all previously released fixes. If you have previous updates installed, only the new fixes that are contained in this package will be downloaded and installed to your computer.”
