RIM Sets a Date for BlackBerry 10 Launch: January 30

Still no word on when handsets with the new OS will be available.

Building the Right Environment to Support AI, Machine Learning and Deep Learning

After numerous delays, RIM has finally settled on a date for the official launch of its new BlackBerry 10 mobile operating system: January 30. However, the company has not said when smartphones that use the new OS will be available for purchase.

Previously, the company promised to deliver the new platform by the holiday season. However, it later backtracked and promised a launch early in 2013.

"In building Blackberry 10, we set out to create a truly unique mobile computing experience that constantly adapts to your needs," said company CEO Thorsten Heins. "Our team has been working tirelessly to bring our customers innovative features combined with a best-in-class browser, a rich application ecosystem, and cutting-edge multimedia capabilities. All of this will be integrated into a user experience - the Blackberry Flow - that is unlike any smartphone on the market today."
