Salesforce, which is itself one of the world's largest cloud computing companies, has announced that it is moving much of its infrastructure to Amazon Web Services (AWS), the undisputed leader in cloud computing. The four-year deal, which is reportedly worth $400 million, will migrate core Salesforce services, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, App Cloud, Community Cloud, and Analytics Cloud, to AWS. Salesforce was already using Amazon's infrastructure for its Heroku cloud development platform.

"We are excited to expand our strategic relationship with Amazon as our preferred public cloud infrastructure provider," said Salesforce founder and CEO Marc Benioff.
