lost ark june update: major content coming

Lost Ark Update

The popular MMORPG Lost Ark is set to receive a series of major updates in the coming months. Smilegate RPG and Amazon Games are working together to bring these changes to the Western version of the game. In July, players can expect a new Solo Mode for raids and dungeons, allowing them to challenge content alone.

This mode will support raids from the Valtan Legion Raid to the Ivory Tower Abyssal Dungeon. While solo raids will reward less gold, players will still receive progression materials. Tier 3 progression will also receive a boost, with decreased honing prices up to item level 1580.

Crafting, upgrading, and set upgrade prices will decrease as well. Players can also look forward to permanent engraving support and gems to aid their progression. September marks the arrival of Tier 4, the next stage of Lost Ark’s endgame.

The North Kurzan continent will be introduced, with a new story centered around reuniting with allied forces to battle against Kazeros, the Lord of Abyss.

Lost Ark’s upcoming solo mode

The entry item level for this content will be 1620.

A new 16-player Behemoth Raid will also release, granting Tier 4 materials and weapon transcendence to victorious players. The raid will require an item level of 1640. Tier 4 will introduce new gear in Relic and Ancient levels, with a maximum quality of 120.

The game’s combat system will also receive updates, including a Perfect Block System and new battle items. The level cap will increase across the board, with the combat level rising from 60 to 70, roster level from 300 to 400, skill level from 12 to 14, and trade skill level to 70. Two new dungeons, Kenuat Fortress and Kurzan Frontline, will be added.

Kenuat Fortress will require an item level of 1620 for entry, while Kurzan Frontline is a new hack-and-slash style content. Other changes include the unification of Sailing Coins and Seals into one token type and the removal of Providence Stones for a more streamlined experience. These updates reflect Smilegate RPG and Amazon Games’ commitment to improving the player experience and bringing fresh content to Lost Ark.

More details will be shared as the release dates approach.
