Report: 'Windows Azure' to Become 'Microsoft Azure'

Sources say Microsoft plans to re-brand its cloud computing service.

Application Security Testing: An Integral Part of DevOps

Citing information from "tipsters," ZDNet's Mary Jo Foley is reporting that Microsoft plans to rename its Windows Azure cloud computing service 'Microsoft Azure.' She writes that an official announcement will be made today and that the name switch will become official April 3 during the Build developer conference.

The name change seems appropriate since Azure now supports non-Windows tools, including Linux, Oracle middleware and databases, and languages like Java, Ruby, PHP and Python.
