Application Security Testing: An Integral Part of DevOps

Cloud-based communications platform Twilio has announced that it is opening a marketplace for third-party add-ons. “This the beginning of Twilio’s marketplace,” said Twilio CEO and co-founder Jeff Lawson. “What we’ve done is to allow developers to do more with less code.”

So far, 18 partners are offering Twilio add-ons. Those partners include IBM, which is offering two Watson services: Message Sentiment and Message Insights. The company said this is the first time it has made Watson cognitive computing services available on a third party service. Watson services are also available through IBM's Bluemix cloud development platform.

One million developers are registered to use the Twilio service.
